This happened awhile ago, but recently I was reminded and thought I'd share.
It was a Sunday morning and my boyfriend, some friends and I were eating at Cici's for breakfast. If you're not familiar with Cici's this is how it works. You walk in, pay $5 grab a plate and sample all the pizza you want. Sometimes they even have specialty pizzas that they are promoting. This particular Sunday morning they were promoting some kind of beef pizza, so I thought I'd try it. I had already got my first plate and hadn't decided that I wanted to try it yet. On my second trip, I was behind this black family who obviously just came from church. I shared a couple of kind words with the father whom I was directly behind. We talked about how we were both going to try that new pizza they were promoting. It was a pleasant conversation until we get to the tray that the pizza is at. It almost seems as though they only put the pizza out for the family because the first three took half of the pizza and the FATHER took the other HALF! What makes it worse is that he turns to me, does a pathetic little shrug with that look on his face like "sucks for you" and says "Sorry, gotta eat" as he gestures to his stomach. I was so po'd, after waiting in that line the whole time to try this pizza, I had to wait for them to make another one and put it out. And whats worse is he took HALF of the pizza.... this man who looked as though he was a good churchgoing man is indulging in half of a pizza which could easily be shared with his fellow human brethren, but NO.... the preacher man just had to have his half of a pizza. BAH! Even though it was months ago, it still really twists my nerves...

Uh, it's just pizza. Even though this is an old blog, I'll still say it. Let it frickin go! It's pizza, the things people get worked up about. But it was inconsiderate, but I wouldn't have allowed myself to get mad.

I agree, too. He was there first. Also, churchgoing doesn't mean courteous or nice. It usually is quite the opposite.
