You asked for it, and we're providing it.
In a recent poll, ProU users expressed interest in another feature to beat blogger's block. We already have the news page, but now we're introducing the Topic of the Week.
Each week, our news team will give you a series of news feeds with articles based on our topic for the week. Below that will be 2-3 questions intended to stimulate thought and discussion about various issues affecting our world. Some of these will relate to popular culture and history, and others will relate to politics or social issues.
You can find the topic of the week at www.progressiveu.org/weeklytopic.
We hope that this will create a series of great posts that we can promote to the front page (giving you more exposure). In order to assess them, all we ask is that you tag your blog with the keyword found under each news team member. Of course, the front page will by no means be limited to topic of the week blogs, so remember that you can write about whatever you want (but please keep it stimulating; none of us want to read about your favorite TV shows).
If you are interested in helping the news team out with this and other features, please check out our volunteer page. We are always looking for people that want to be active volunteers on the site.
