What is life?
Life, in a literal sense, is our fuel. It is the electrical spark that allows our bodies to function. Without it, all of Earth's inhabitants would be inanimate jumbles of organic material.
Life is special, you know. The only known place in the entire universe that holds life is our mother planet. But what makes life? Why does life exist? Why do WE exist?
The answers to these questions are not easily found, nor are they easily explained. Through Christianity, the answers to all these questions would be "God", but why limit ourselves to a completely biased opinion?
In my opinion, since that is what it truly is, life was an accident. And all of life's repercussions, including humanity, were all accidents. But if this were true, there would no longer be a meaning to life. There would be no underlying reason to live! But in fact, there is. We live for life. No, not life as described in the first few sentences of this blog. This is a different kind of life.
You see, with the emergence of man, came a new meaning of life. Life no longer was the simple essence that made us alive. Life became a whole new ball game; it became our most cherished, personal endeavors. And as humans evolved into intellectually complex beings, our meaning of life evolved as well. To a mother, life is her child, for he gives the mother a reason to live and in a sense becomes the mother's life.
But why do we continue to question life? What is the meaning of life?
From a physical, biological standpoint, our mere existence is derived from past generations. So in a sense, the "meaning of life" is to create more life. We were physically endowed with instruments of sexual reproduction, so why not use them? Why do we have eyes, if not to see with?
I believe no one will really ever find the true reason for our existence. But from an individual point-of-view, life is to each his own. So don't limit yourself to a close-minded view of life. Open your eyes. Live and prosper.

To learn and understand we don’t necessarily need to rule the lives of others in order to enjoy our own!
