I am just starting out on the college road to hard work and late night study cramming, which will more than likely end in my utter demise and poor letter grades. I am working the grave yard shift and supporting my family of three. (That is counting me) I am very loved by my family. (Both the one I have built and the one that I came from)
The government says that I make more than enough to pay for my schooling, but my bank account, and the basic math skills say that I don't. I am left with about 14k of my schooling to pay for. I qualify for loans from banks and various credit unions, however the monthly payments send me over my budget. It was in the chair of the local bank that my faith in the accuracy of John and Paul's lyrics came to a catastrophic ending. I needed more than love.
I am quite certain that I am not the only one in this same situation. I am currently working on getting funding from different locations, and I was lead here. Do any of you have any other tips or pointers on getting aide to fund for school?

If you get an unsubsidized load (i think it's unsub, not subsidized. I may be wrong), then you won't have to pay interest until you're out of school.

Besides that, there's scholarships (which take some time to work for and obtain), perhaps altering your FAFSA to show a more accurate, lower contribution towards college funds. That's about all I can think of at the moment.
