Why is that it is such a loss to conform? Why is such a gain to stand alone?
I ask this because it's quite the opposite. Why is it such a gain to conform? Why is it such a loss to stand alone? But those questions up top, I ask because that's my opinion, that's my view.... I don't think it's a loss to stand alone, and I don't think it's a gain to conform... It's all I ever knew and will probably ever know..... But just a question.
What do you think?
And I really want to hear your side, your input on this... Because this is something we all face in our lives... and the questions are only going to stronger and harder as we go on.... It's just nice to hear that some other people believe in you.... or with you for that matter

nearly not as much as standing up for what you believe in
It's been that way forever and I think even though sometimes the protesters/nonconformists are thought to be cool, people in general do not like going against what the masses say or do
It is human nature and some sort of built in survival mentality in my opinion
It is something I spurn (people who have to say/believe stuff because that is what is expected) ---
the loss and gain part is very complicated and I have to come back and comment on that, thanks for sharing your views, I can relate somehow because I am confused too and boggled by this
but....In some cases though I am not sure if I am going to be as harsh on judging conformists (especially if it is a life and death situation.)
