So, recent news (ie. the soon to be released video) has been making me extremely paranoid. Why can't there just be world peace? Global warming should be our main adversary, not each other. Why is there war in Iraq? How would tranforming the middle east into a democratic middle east benefit anyone? Sure, democracy seems fair and just to us Americans, but maybe it just really isn't practical to instill it in the middle east. Everyone's different and diverse, things that we like aren't necessarily things that they'll like. We should respects their beliefs and allow them to live how they want to live on their own land. Why are our brave soldiers' lives being put at risk for no logical reason at all? We should instead focus on more domestic issues, improve on our short comings and try to mend the wrongs we've done.

Unfortunately, it does affect us(September 11) and we are over there, whether we like it or not. The people over there appreciate what we are doing because AL Quada(excuse the mispelling) was becoming their corrupt government. We are over there to protect them from something they did not want there.
On a different note, i agree with the fact that we should also be doing things to help this country from within. Not that it isnt productive, but we sometimes tend to worry about the rest of the world sometimes.
