what is progression? in my opinion, its a gift. Progressing has a great confidence boost. When i progress in something,I feel like i have accomplished one more goal of mine and I'm ready to take on the next challenge. progress can also be going further in life. knowledge is the weapon, and the ammunition is unlimited. Thats my personal quote. Progress is a reminder that we can finish on top. without progress, everyone would just give up and quit. I use progress as motivation and it hasn't let me down yet. The more I focus, the more I progress. for example, a babies first steps. A baby isn't able to walk right away, but from experience and progress, the baby starts walking. the baby has the experience not only mentally but physically on what they need to do to walk. They are focused and progressing every step they take. Another example would be , starting a new job. When starting a new job, you have to learn how the company does things. Does the company require certain clothes to be worn, where the letters go, how long is lunch, etc. From experience, you will understand and progress in you occupation.

I think progression is a built in system of praise. Even if noone is telling you, you can see when you are getting better at something. We would all get discouraged if it weren't for progress. No goal is going to be instantly obtainable. Say you want to get an A in math class a you currently have a C. Imagine not knowing how you are doing. You work problems, complete worksheets, and take tests and all the while are completely clueless on your status. You would give up if you had to wait until you had the A to know you were there. That is why you get tests back, and speak with the teacher and things, so that although you may not be to the end result yet, you at least can acknowledge that you are on the right track.
