The economy has us by our lower regions. We have to bend to it's will. That is, anyone who works for a living. It's nice to think that the consumer controls the market, but can we really say we control the market when we are forced to work most of out lives to keep it going? We are slaves to the workplace. It's a sad fact. Many people have to choose their work over their families or lose their jobs! All for the sake of profit. People work 40-70 hours a week. And some jobs are in danger of being sent overseas in the name of "lower costs", "profit", and "Competition".
And for what, so greedy CEO's can collect as many useless pieces of paper as thet can and trade it for useless junk while the greater part of society struggles to get by.
