My girlfriend Kristine and I have started a little Autograph collection, and i thought i would share it with you. I started collecting in July of 2007, and i have already managed to obtain over 200 autographs.
Hockey
1. Clark Gillies
I sent Mr. Gillies a 1977 Topps #6 card to 31 Stonywell Court, Dix Hills, NY. 11746-5424, USA and he signed it for me in Blue Sharpie and returned it in the self-address envelope I sent with my card. Very nice guy.
2. James Patrick
I sent Mr. Patrick a 1984-1985 O-Pee-Chee #150 card to 5024 Red Tail Run, Buffalo NY 14221, USA and he sent it back to me in 7 days signed in Black Sharpie.
3. Gordie Howe
I sent Mr. Howe a hockey card that I had in my private collection. And he sent me a 3x5 signed and inscribed with "To Adam and Kristine. Mr. Hockey Gordie Howe #9" on a 3x5 in Blue Sharpie (INSCRIBED).
These are the only three hockey players i have attempted to get their autpgraphs. And they were all successful.
