I do not know who wrote this poem. I really like it and it makes me think of my birth daughter Brittany.
Are you my momma
Just checking to see
I'm looking for my mom
The one who gave birth to me
I love the one who raised me
Please don't get me wrong
I just long to meet my birth mom
These feeling are very strong
Does she look like me
And like the things I do
The answer to so many questions
If I only knew
If I knew my birth mom
And I knew her ways
My countless thoughts of her
Would no longer consume my days
