So, today I met up with a friend that i hadn't seen in awhile. For as long as i can remember he had always been pretty down, upset, and things just never quite "looked up" for him. I mean, stuff constantly went wrong for him and things never really seemed to turn out right for him. He was choosing the wrong path to get to the right place, in many different paths of life. It seemed like every day was a struggle for him to put a smile on his face.
When i met up with him, today. He had this certain glow to his skin, a HUGE smile from cheek to cheek, and an incredible sparkle in his eye. I have to say, he was undeniably happy. Thing's had finally started going smooth for him, it seemed as if he was finally whole again. Not to mention, he met this adorable red-head and they're crazy about eachother.
Seeing him like this made me feel happy inside. Not for me...but, for him. I was truly happy for him. I just wanted everyone to now, is one day things willget better, and your day will come. Just keep working hard, and never ever give up on yourself. You'll make it through.
I'm glad that you're meeting with your friend turned out alright.
