A man trying to kill his girlfriend by stopping a car in front of an approaching train was himself killed Monday when the train hit the vehicle and launched it into him as he tried to flee, police said.
The girlfriend survived.
Absolutely classic. :)
If ever there was a contender for Darwin's Award, this has to be one. This man was seen arguing with his girlfriend when he decided to drive in front of other cars that were stopped in anticipation of the oncoming train and park on the tracks. She gets hit by the train and lived, being transferred immediately to a hospital and listed in stable condition; while he gets hit by his own car and dies on the scene.
Talk about some serious karma.

God, kharma, fate, the laws of probabillty or something just did society a huge favor. I am a big believer in the death penalty. I bet there quite a few posters here who enjoyed this story who oppose the death penalty. I think that is odd and inconsistent.
