My Little Introduction

I feel it is necessary to post a little introduction as I am new to this
site. I am not new to blogging.. who is these days?! I hope that this turns out
to be more of an informal discussion. I want to point out that I do not want to
step on any toes and I know that we are all entitled to opinions.

Getting that out of the way, my name is Kati. I am a
proud teen mom. I am a former member of the military and a proud military wife.
I work and am a full time college student. I chose a tough road, and yes, I am
a statistic.. but honestly.. get over it! I love my life. I am doing all of the
things I planned, just a bit out of order. I am a Nursing major. I thought
about medical school but feel like I owe that to my daughter one day. I plan to
go as far as my Masters degree and be a nurse practitioner.

In high
school, I never really had much of an opinion when it came to current events. I
was a back woods country girl who could care less. Over the last few years, my
ideas began to mature. I want to stress that I still have a long way to go. I
am glad to be part of this organization and I hope that you all can help me
look at things in a new light and help me to shape my ideas.
