New Line Cinema is starting to think about doing the Hobbit. I am so happy. The Lord of the Rings were great movies. The books were even better, but that is always the case. The Hobbit was even better than Lord of the Rings. It would make for an awesome movie.
One thing that appeals to me is the ideal of sacrifice and the morality that comes with it. It is one of the major themes in Lord of the Rings. Hobbit also contains this. it also contains the theme about moving out of your comfort zone and helping others. Bilbo must leave the Shire and do things that most hobbits would never want to or even think of doing. I love these books and they are absolutely brilliant books. I advise everyone read these books at least once in their lifetime. Reading the book will make the movie all the much better because it will increase your understanding of what is happening and why. It also explains tolkens world better.
Oh, hurray! I was worried no one would do the Hobbit. It is my favorite book anyway (of JRR Tolkienn). THanks for posting this, you made my very early morning.

i luv the movies that came out, nd it was harder for me to read the books, because they were so long!!! i think watching them onscreen is better, because there are things that you can't visualize well while reading. I hope the hobbit comes out as a movie too =) ~
