More protection for the youth

What is a safe place for the youth to go to and just chill with there friends these days??? thats the question i ask...a youth center, a recreation center, a city swimming pool..where do the youth go if all these have some kind of violence or unsafe activity happening in or around these places...i myself go to a recreation center just to hangout with friends..but after i heard that there was a shouting in the corner store next to the rec center and the lady got killed i sometimes think twice about going to the rec center...just because i dont know where the person who shoot her will be next..and i heard about another shooting that just happened a couple of days ago in front of a youth center on 3rd street..a girl who was about ready to gradute got hit by a bullet...whats going on around these areas...NOT ENOUGH SECURITY..its like the police is afraid to protect the youth...and only show up when its to late and something has already happened...not enough rules are being inforced...i think there should be aat least one cop patroling the centers to somewhat stop these activies...children are unsafe in a place thats suppose to be safe for them.. also we need more money for the centers..so more good activies can be happening and everyone be involved...people need to start caring about these issuses and not wait until the last minute...PROTECT THE YOUTH AND GIVE THEM A SAFE PLACE TO PLAY IN....
