I find it hard to believe that we have that big of an effect on this planet!
I was thinking about global warming the other day. And wouldn't it benefit the whole world if it was warmer?
If it were then everyone would be able to grow their own food. That would be a good thing!
Really though some one said 99% of credible scientists agree that global warming is happening. I say 99% of credible scientists disagree. No one ever produces actual facts.. Just propaganda. Like Al Gore's crap!
Other scientists are saying the earth is dying a heat loss death. Oh, wait, they aren't credible or are they??
Yes the earth is getting warmer but it is a trend. It will cool again!
This planet has cycles of warming and cooling. How is this suddenly a terrible problem?
Can you tell me how it was that the Vikings crossed the Atlantic in open boats and Leif Eriksson son of Erik the Red settled and farmed Greenland? Why are they finding mammoths there? What did the vikings or the mammoths do to cause the warming and then cooling and now warming again.
What happened there? That was like 900 years ago or something like that.
How is that in 1974 Time magazine published an article about a coming ICE AGE!!

It has been a long time since science class but don't trees love carbon dioxide? We have tons and tons of trees on this planet.
I am just saying it is all hype and ways for the government to get more money out of us. Pretty soon we will be told what kind of car you can or can't have. That is coming...
I do like the idea of find alternative fuel sources simply because it is expensive to refine petrolieum. So it could be cheaper to have a hydrogen fuel source. It burns clean..
However, with companies like Honda the new Clarity coming out this summer. They will find ways to get money out of you. The Clarity isn't available to the majority yet because there is no Honda fueling stations built except in southern California. You cannot even buy a Clarity you can lease them in Southern California for something like $600 a month or something.
So they will charge you to use their special nozzels to fill your little gem of evironmentally friendly car! I think the Clarity is a very cool idea.. I want one. But not to stop global warming.
I personally like the Air Car as well. I don't think it is available in the USA yet. It may never be. There would be no way the government could charge you for using it.
Why do we have to be scared into finding alternative sources for fuel and energy? Why are we being guilted into everything?

Global Warming is real but it is a natural cycle. Most scientists agree that it is real, but only a small group agree with Gore, however that small group is the most funded. Global Warming or Climate Change happens in cycles, like the polar shift. For who know how long, we should be in a warming stage and back to a cooling, hell we could already be done with the warming stage for now.

I saw a headline the other day where some scientists are now worrying about global cooling. Personally, I'd rather have global warming so I can buy some land somewhere that'll thaw out and plant some grapes or something. I totally agree though, the media is constantly bombarding us with stuff like this. It's like they want to scare us into buying whatever product is the new fad. Like energy efficient cars. While that is extremely good on one hand(energy efficient cars that is), they're promoting them for the wrong reasons. The reason I like fuel efficient cars is because I'm sick of paying billions of dollars to overseas oil companies. I'd rather pay that kind of money to local companies so our economy isn't jeoprodized. I don't like, however, how the media is claiming that if we all don't buy these cars, the planet will incinerate. When I know certain facts and somebody, who also knows these facts, tries to convince me that they know what's best for me when I already know, I get mad at them. It's like walking into a store and grabbing a pack of gum. You stand in line and when it's your turn to pay, the cashier tells you that you shouldn't have that gum because you don't really want it. You're like, "I'm standing in line, ready to pay for this pack of gum that I love so very, very much... of course I want it!". And she/he tells you again that you don't want it and proceeds to try to get a security guy(government) to take it from you. She/he then tells you that you need to buy some "GreenGum" because it's eco friendly.(she/he didn't mention that it was four times the price...) You're forced to buy that gum and pretty soon the original gum you wanted to buy is outlawed...

Global Warming is regardless, the damage humans have done to the Earth and it's environments in irrefutable. Guess what, we live on the Earth in the environment. You're house, car, everything you own is made out of the environment, and where you live and walk and what you breathe is part of the environment.

I'm currently studying global warming in school. And I've seen both sides of the story. And to tell you the truth, I don't really know what to believe anymore.
Some parts of me is careless about it. Like, why does it even matter if global warming is happening? If we die from it, than we die. We're going to die some day anyways.

Actually, hydrogen fuel is currently more expensive than petroleum fuel. You're better off looking at the ethanol, electric, and biodiesel fuel sources.

I just read an article by Scientific American that says biodiesel is bad for the enviroment. And yes currently hydrogen fuel is more expensive. Unfortunately. Have you seen the Air Car which is powered by compressed air?? It was developed by some French guys.

I've also heard of a guy who developed a car that could run on water.
