school uniforms or no?

I have been going to a public school all my life so I have never experienced wearing uniforms. I believe that it would be a lot easier if school just made everyone wear a standard uniform because it would make picking out a outfit to wear to school at lot easier. Also because of not wearing casual clothes all the time, they would fade less and there would be more outfits to wear on the weekends. There would probably be less discrimination if school uniforms were a standard, there would be less judgment on people based on the way they look. Since there would not be a need to wear casual clothes as much a person could save the money or use it on other things. Especially for girls I think it would be helpful because many would cut down the time of getting ready in the morning if they did not have to choose a matching outfit. It would also help guys that like to color coordinate. They would not have to buy as many pair of shoes and shirts to coordinate. Some people might argue that it takes away a person’s individuality but it could be still expressed through their personality. The way they walk, talk, or act can just as easily represent what type of person they are.
