“Everything the man creates, has the power to destroy him"
kind of creepy, yet so true. mankind existence has been short and has been brutal, we are always at war with each. trying to cut each others feet out from under each other. when will it stop. your answer is never.
i know people aren't really into the apocalyptic stuff, but have you ever really considered it. try watching I am legend if you haven’t seen it, does it strike you as close to reality, like it could actually happen.
humans wont be killed by some other species from “out there” in space. thats way to unrealistic and most likely wont have a possibility to even occur till we can travel through space. we will have killed ourselves long before then. If not through nuclear war, then through mutations from what we eat, from pollutants we breath, or from what we do to ourselves. i believe the powder keg that will light the whole thing off resides in the Middle East. i have never seen a place more full of hate, aggressiveness, and brutality in my life.
another scary fact. some scientists are predicting that our grandchildren will become one with the machine. for instance instead of caring around ipods, well have a chip in our head so all we have to do is think to play a song and it will automatically start playing in our ears.
do you see what i mean? please comment.

I hope that never happens.
I hope that one day nature will take it's place as ruler of the planet and we will have to live as humans once did: respectful of the environment and required to work to live. What can I say? I was born in the wrong century.

The only way that anything like that will ever happen is if we let it. So don't let it. But then others could argue that but trying to stop it we would actully initiate it, therefore don't do anything and prepare to die :)
Just kidding, the world will only become what we want it and allow it to become, so if you don't like the way its going right now, try and change it for the better. I know it cliche, but it is true.

the human population is about 6.8 billion, when you say we, you do realize you are taking about every single human. so you think we all think the same, that we all care. the answer. is no. if you look at examples today of what we are doing to ourselves, stem cell research and abortion. we cant stop it now, how will we stop it in the near future.
Personally, I don't see how stem cell research hurts anybody. They're using embryo's that would have been thrown out anyway. As for abortion, I have to say I think it nonsensical that the human race is going to abortion itself out of existence.

what i mean is that we are experimenting, creating things from ourselves, abortion and stem cell research. they are us, human. when do we stop experimenting and doing things to ourselves. get it.
Well, abortion isn't really an experiment, so I don't really know how to answer that. As for stem cell research, again, these are stored embryo's that people are going to get rid of. We had three choices, really. Keep 'em forever. Awful lot of room that would take up. Besides, they're not going to last quite that long. Throw 'em away. Great. Bit of a waste really, but what the hey? Or, we could use them to try and cure diseases. Personally, I think that's the best choice. And, I don't exactly consider a clump of cells quite human. Nor do I see how experimentation harms the human race.

what i mean is that we do things to our bodies and ourselves, genes, ect. where or when do we stop
Following your reasoning, me taking asthma medicine is bad for the human race. We stop where we stop. How should I know? What I do know is that stem-cell research is not a place where I feel we should stop.

I don't really agree. I think America has the most hate, out of all nations.
No offense to your beliefs, we have so much stuff going on In our nation, i dont see why we have to botther with the folks in the middle east. If we didn't go there, there probably wouldn't be MORE hate. Anyways, back to the stuff going on IN our country. there's already racism, people hopping the border, gangs running the street & natural disasters - the tornadoes, hurricanes, and wild fire.
I dont see why we can't worry about US first.
"Worry about yourself [well-being] before worrying about others"
u really didn't get my article, the middle east is the powder keg. in other words, where the war to end us all will start. that's what i meant. and besides look at some of the examples you provided, racism, gangs, and natural disasters.
if we go into depth about all of these, it will show that it is twice as bad there as it will ever be here.
racism-conflicts between jews and muslims, massive kills, history of wars!!
gangs-radical terrorist groups who don't care who the hell the kill
natural disasters-the place is a huge desert, it all brutal and harsh terrain
"I am legend"
Terrible movie. Awesome book. Actually there are three movies the best is The Last Man Alive with Vincent Price. (mutters angrily under breath. Vermont. Bah)
Who can say how it all ends? I, for one, don't think it'll be nuclear war. No nation will launch a nuke, and if an organization does, I have a feeling they'll find themselves somewhat devoid of friends on the national level.
I don't know, global warming maybe, although I doubt that too. I think that people will figure that out sooner rather than later and we tend to be good at adapting.
