I always hear about CNN and how it is supposed to be the best place to get first-hand info about what takes place in Washington and U.S. politics. Personally, I don't really like CNN; it is just your everyday news source providing second-hand information spoken from the mouths of journalists (who are almost as bad as lawyers). I feel that CSPAN is where most people should go to get more info on the Election '08, Senate/ House proceedings and happenings, and discussions on the war in Iraq by federal officials. O.K., I know that CSPAN sounds a little boring and dry, but it really provides the best, "primary sourced" information each day. So, CSPAN certainly is more accurate than CNN since it comes directly from footage of Congressional hearings and Iraqi war debates. I also watch a lot of the Daily Show with John Stewart in order to get most of my news. Now, John Stewart isn't the best source for news, but he is so funny and entertaining, and he has yet to steer me wrong. His info may be one-sided (left-wing media), but is always accurate, at least to my knowledge. So, we should all watch more CSPAN and become well informed voting citizens.
