The Da Vinci Code truth

Tagged:  •

With the movie coming out I want everyone to realize that this book is indeed a FICTION novel. Dan Brown is a christian and has repeatedly stated that he wrote the book for entertainment and that it isn't true. Their are actual groups that exist in the book like Opus Dei. People are also taking offense to the book because it says Christ had a wife and children. Look at it this way he is not telling you to believe it and even if it was true and doesn't make Christ less devine. It is a really good book! I am a firm believer in christianity so don't sit here and tell me I'm atheist and etc. Open your eyes to other things and other point of views. If you open your eyes you'll be surprised to what you find.

YAY! Someone now speaks the truth! But it's not going to stop me from going to see the movie even though I share your sentiments.

I can't wait to see the movie and I firmly believe that Dan Brown is an awesome writer!

Ok it is settled. Can this please be the last post on Da Vinci Code? Hey, just a request. Say what you like.

I am not a repetitive person so you don't have to worry about that. I'm tired of people freaking out about the book

I love you right now.

Make that two people love you right now.

I just finished reading the book and I loved it. It freaked me out a little bit (in a good way), not only because Dan Brown made unbelievable references to famous paintings and such, but due to the gripping detail each chapter was written.

I recently got into an argument about this topic with one of my friends, who thinks that everything the book said is true, and this post is like a hugh sigh of relief for me. Knowing that several people out there know that this book is FICTIONAL and not some life changing... event.
