I've been thinking these past few days. Does racism and discrimination still exist today? I have never thought about this problem, not until I was introduced to this topic. I was reading some of the blogs that were written by people who experienced some kind of racism. I noticed most of it were targetted in "blacks". Many had shared their experiences by expressing how they felt and how they were look down upon "whites". They changed their hair, looks, attitudes, and styles into order to fit into the society. I think the society has this "Ideal Look" of beauty, that is not possible to reach. Everyone dress, look, and talk different in their own special way, one should not change themself into order to be accpeted in this world. Everyone can be beautiful regradless of their race, sex, color or religon. I don't think it is nesscary to change "yourself" to be viewed as beautiful. Does anyone has any idea of how soceity views everything. Is it all base on the "IDEAL LOOK" or is this how reality runs?
