Recently I came across a newspaper announcing a semimar on "People who love Jesus, but not the church." I am a Christian myself even if i don't feel like i am somethimes. Not I don't mean that I forget I am a Christian and act wild tan instead act as a do good Christian. Well I am neither, but it does not take away my salvation that is rooted in Him for He has given himself to the Lord. I realized that so many people.... TO BE CONTINUED...

TO BE CONTINUED??? initial comment: what causes you to 'fade'?
Why didn't you just save this in Word or something similar until you were ready to post the full thing?
I am not very clear on what you say. You are in the middle? Not good, yet not bad? I guess as long as you don't kill yourself or another, you should be okay
But Jesus founded the first Church, along with its Pope, and the sacrament of Communion. God wants people to wirship Him as a unified people. Sure, it's great to worship alone, but God says that it is so much better when 2 or more are jointly worshipping Him.
i dunno where this comment means i am a bit confused- peppermintfrost. can u explain what u mean please? thanks :)
The name of your post is "loving Jesus, not the Church." My point is that Jesus founded the Catholic Church, along with it's Pope, and the sacrament of Communion. The Catholic Church is His church since He made it. Now even if you're not Catholic, I stil lthink it's important to attend mass. He wants us to worship in unity. You can sit at home and pray, but prayer is so much better when 2 or more are gathered in His name.
when i put down loving jesus but not the church it does not mean to pray alone and worship jesus, the church is also what u say a unity- the body of christ...
But the post meant to mean that there are those who love jesus but not how the church organizes in ways that may not be the way God wants- rules are there but god never does not mean to say one mistake send u to hell or god is loving and forgives all- god is neither the two but he loves all,k but has tough love just as parents have. The main thing is loving jesus and doing what he wants us to because simply we love him not out of habit or in the trap of religion itself.
When i post this i meant to point out that the point is not religion itself, but the relationship with jesus. I hope it makes sense what i meant.
Yes, that makes sense. In that case, then I agree with you. I mean, I'm proud to be a Catholic and I think my faith is great, but there's no reason to worship religion and be in love with Catholicism...Jesus is my only true love.
Yes! that was what I had intended to mean. In love with Jesus and most people tend to think the church as a religious thing but u and i both know deeper than that. Glad u understand what I meant.:) I was worried abt. the misunderstanding a bit.
