Besides the getting married and owning my own place... what are the things you want to do before you die? I have a few. now these are more of things I want to accomplish... not places I want to visit...
- Writing
o Compile all my poetry into a book.
o Write a book about my great grandfather’s story on how he came to America (my Romanian heritage)
o Write a fiction (thriller? sci-fi?)
- Art
o Create a great self-portrait
o Create a good science fiction art piece; original.
o Create a Romanian mythology theme series… rewrite into a book?
- College
o Take as many art classes as I can.
o Graduate with at least a Masters.
Before I die, I don't really care what I end up doing. I think that any life is an adventure...
At the moment, I feel like I don't want to be 'trapped' by mainstream living..the things I'm expected to do, the junk you hear on TV that is suppose to make you happier..the normal life with 2 kids, money, etc...
However, I think this is just me feeling trapped. I'm not sure if it would matter or not in the end.
I will try to stay away from buying items and working for things that will not really fulfill me in any way.
I've been struggling with the idea of goals as of late... I don't want to say 'I must do this or that' before I die...disappointed if I don't make my goals. I know that I can't control my life to that extent anyway.
Several years ago my goal was to make something truly beautiful in art (preferably a film). I later remember watching an animated film in theater and realizing that I wanted to make something beautiful because I really wanted to create a different reality for myself-make/see myself and my life as a work of art. But I also want to share something with someone else. The obvious answer is a work of art that others can view/read/whatever. I don't know what that will be yet.
Just going with the flow.
I'd also like to really make a difference in someone's life.
If it is possible to change the world, I'd like that as well...
I'd also like to meet someone that I could really feel right with.
