The movie "Death of a President" is set to come out on October 27th 2006. It is a made up documentary about the assassination of President George W. Bush. Of course the assassination part is fictional, but from what I hear, being a "documentary", it goes over many of the misuses of executive power.
I feel it is far past due that a movie comes out to reveal how Americans are basically getting screwed over by their president. Hopefully the movie will go over how all of our civil liberties have been taken away. Of course, the movie was made before the Detainee Bill was passed, so it might not mention the destruction of Habeas Corpus or the President's pardoning of himself. But I'm sure it will mention many of our other civil liberties being taken away, such as the fact that the NSA is probably reading this blog because of the title I gave to it. Hopefully they'll realize I'm just talking about a movie before I'm declared an enemy combatant by the president and detained for an undisclosed period of time w/o knowing why :-D Everyone should give this movie a chance... learn something.

Michael Moore has made movies that have shown this and they have been very successul in the box office but have created very little responses.
But Micheal Moore did it at a time when Bush still had a lot of support. Also, regardless of Moore's good/bad ideas, he doesn't have much respect outside of his supporters. I respect the man, but not everyone does. Now that people are starting to get the idea that we're getting screwed, I think they might listen. Plus, he never superimposed President Bush's head onto someone being assassinated.
