Why is it that people refuse to serve eachother? How bad does the world have to get before we finally realize that something needs to change? People! put aside your hostilities. end your hatred for your neighbor. It's time to take up a new way of life. From this moment on, we must serve and love eachother. There are children dying in Africa, and the majority of those deaths are caused by the lack of good drinking water! How does the human race ignore their cries? Why is it that children are sold to be sex slaves all over the world, not to mention our own? Why is it that children are being abused and neglected everywhere, and the poor are being turned away. Why is it that when I walk the Tenderloin of San Francisco I see homeless people scattered everywhere, some simply passed out in the gutter. Why is it that we cannot help eachother? Are we a world full of social loafers?

In church today, this was what the bulk of the sermon was about. I've been thinking about this for much of today. People are too engaged in their own trials to realize that there are other people suffering with even greater problems. God will take care of us, He will not abandon us. So if we needn't worry, we should put that energy into helping others. I'm guilty of this too, just like everyone else, I don't mean to sound all preachy, but this is something I am working on.
I understand that you are frustrated with all of this. Yes, it helps if you do your part and I like your passion, but remember you can't help the whole world. Especially on your own
If a 12 year old boy can raise millions of dollars to help africans, I think that if we all did just a little more, we could help A LOT.
O.K. so what are you going to do about it? ANy ideas yet? I think you should channel all that passion in one specific area one at a time and not spread yourself too thin. If we all could just be kind to the people that come along our way, that would make a difference. And I suggest that you do something about it soon, because passionate actions delayed leads to indifference. PErsonal experience taught me that.
The key to helping people is passion. You have to be passionate about ending peoples suffering, many people have been jaded to the suffering of others. Good luck not only spreading peace and love, but also spreading your passion.
Pray for Peace
