Let me first start by saying I'm sorry, I'm sorry to those on this site which I have offended by doing that which I don't agree with myself, shoving my beliefs down your throat.
This may not have been my intention, but even through my own eyes it is clear that I have offended.
I've stated my beliefs on many blogs in attempts to either defend my belief or try to bring some understanding as to what I actually believe in the first place.
I've been thinking about these things I've said, and the thought that comes to my head is, what I believe is my belief, I cannot make anyone believe what I do, I hope that I haven't made it seem as if I am trying to do that, but I'm sure through some eyes I probably have.
I like to think that I've known this all along, yet I haven't acted that way, I believe what I do regardless of how many believe it too, in fact I would say that the more I see my beliefs in my opinion challenged, I seem to believe even more.
Some may think that I'm irrational in what I believe, some may think I desire to control people through it, these how ever are not my intentions.
My hope is not to hurt anyone through what I believe or because of what I believe, in fact that which I do believe calls for peace.
There have been numerous occasions of which a person or people do things in the name of a certain belief or doctrine, I understand though that this does not mean that name they say they are fighting for is always inspiration, or they could be inspired to bring disgust to that name through there actions.
In my opinion every one has the right to believe what they will, as long as that belief does inspire them to hurt others, or to bring dis justice.
From this day forward I want to bring an alternative to the difference in opinion, (or atleast in mine), lets hear what others have to say, lets bring our words to them, but let us not try to enforce our opinions on others.
We have our own minds, no one can control our thoughts, our body's may be brought under control by another, but our hearts and minds will always have free will.
So I guess my whole point to this is, I hope that we can understand we all share this earth, we are all human beings. Through what ever you may feel we came about, we are here, now I ask that we try to live with respect to others and the fact that not everyone feels the way we do, and that's the choice we have.
I also understand that I'm not the only one that feels this way, and by no means am I trying to say that I'm the first one to bring up this alternative.

This post is great. It is along the lines of what a lot of Pagan folk are trying to express to others. I would never force my beliefs upon anyone else and I don't want anyone's beliefs forced upon me. I accept you for who you are and expect the same in return. Isn't it great!

you cant not help what you believe. i doubt you are putting your beliefs down peoples throats. you are just telling people what you believe. if someone has a problem with it, tell them that is Progressive U and it's the reason for this site. Aren't we supposed to have disagreements or/and debates? Aren't we supposed to stick up for what we believe? I believe in abortion and I support it for many reason. I also don't support it for many other reasons as well. I am not someone who will say NO ABORTION EVER! I have written a blog on it. That does not mean I putting my beliefs down peoples throats. I am just stating what I believe. I feel that is what you are doing as well. If people get offended tell them this "GET OVER IT! AND DON'T READ MY BLOGS!"

Well said, it was brave of you to admit your wrong and make things rite.
That's so true. But I find it so hard a lot of the time to not push my beliefs on others. Because in my mind, I know I'm right and they are wrong. But, we should accept people for who they are. I guess I just want to open people's minds to what they don't know or refuse to believe.

I think that everyone has a right to their own beliefs and that there is really no right or wrong. nd they shouldnt be forced to go against their beliefs no matter what. Everyone has their own opinons and beliefs and thats their personal choice.
