Relationships

what comes to mind when you here the term "high school relationship" or "high school sweet heart"? Maybe the stereotypical fluke of a relationship, maybe the school quarterback and head cheerleader..Well, the women in my family met their husbands in high school, in fact, their senior year. Who knows when you'll meet the one for you, will you ever? Is there such thing as true love or is it just lust in disguise. As for me? I had an abusive boyfriend, a cheating boyfriend, and a flat out jerk. My senior year, I finally had some time with the guy I'd been eye-balling for a year or so. Just thinking about it makes me get butterflies. Reflecting upon that day, I remember everything. What I was wearing, the way he smelled, the way he looked, the way his voice sounded when he asked me who I liked... the awkward ride back to school, the tension for weeks to share that first initial kiss. We've been dating for one year, I'm in college he is in high school. It gets tough, but I don't think we are the stereotypical love story. We've traveled together, we've squabbled, we've cried, laughed, done it all! At the end of the day, we love each other. I recently asked him, what defines love? He gave me his definition, different and the same as mine (yes, at the same time). How do you define love? How do you know it is sincere?

You don't; but thats the thrill of it all.

Liked the quote at the end. No one knows who their soulmate will ever be because that is supposed to be the excitement of it. Well if someone would have told me who may soulmate was, I would have seriously waited for him only. I have had a total of 12 boyfriends and all of them have cheated on me. I have been on over 50 dates and ended up finiding something wrong with every guy. Then finally one day when I seriously wanted to give up, my manager tried to hook me up with her brother. At first I said no because I did not want my heart broken again and did not have the time for it. I had just gotten out of a relationship with my ex of 4 years. Now I have a fiance and baby with the my managers brother. Relationships happen weirdly but thats kind of the fun part.I am glad you are with somone who can treat you so much better.

relationships can be very tricky, make sure you are totally prepared and committed! i am and im one of the lucky ones
