Most of us have at least one TV show that we tune into every week. And when the 30 minutes or the hour is over it seems like we cannot wait another 7 days to see what happens. Somehow we do manage the 7 days and there we are right where we picked up. TV shows, movies, books, I guess they all can have an addictive affect on us. But, with TV shows you do usually have to wait the full week. Looking back I have been addicted to quite a few TV shows. My first, of course, most girls of my generation would agree was 'Full House.' They way Uncle Jessie sernaded Michelle and how Stephanie got her ears pierce will always remain memories of mine with that show. Then I graduated to more adults shows like 'Friends.' NBC really did make this Must See TV for me. Once 'Friends' went off the air I felt like I lost my friends. But, TV has a way of bringing new shows to make the void of loosing the old ones less prominant. 'The OC' became the new friends for me. I envied their lives and idolized their fashion. That show got old real quick in my brain and I no longer wanted to watch high school drama. So here I am with 'Grey's Anatomy.' This is the first season I have ever watched of it and I have definitely caught up and gotten hooked. For all you Grey's fans, this is for you.
For people obsessed with Grey's Anatomy... like you and me! ...it's so true it's sick!
...the ones who use Grey's to escape their own pathetic lives.
...the ones who think it would be a sin for Derek & Meredith not to be together.
...the ones who cried during the last few intense Izzie & Denny scenes.
...the ones who need Cristina's sarcastic, smart-ass comments.
...the ones who use Meredith's narration as mental therapy.
...the ones who think surgeons can hear you when you scream at the TV
...the ones who wish someone would look at them like McDreamy looks at Meredith.
...the ones who get a warm, fuzzy feeling when they hear "Cosy in the Rocket."
...the ones who McName their McLives
...the ones who begin to consider a career in medicine despite their lacking science skills
...the ones who put Grey's above their other obligations
...the ones who quote episodes in their daily lives at random moments
