Hey, the first movie of the Anne trilogy filmed by the Wonderworks was great. Anne, played by Megan Follows, is a spunky red headed orphan from Nova Scotia. She is brought to Avonlea by mistake when a neighbor of Mathew and Marilla Cuthbert brings her to them instead of the boy they wanted. As the movie goes on, it takes Anne from an imaginative dreaming girl of about thirteen to a young lady of about sixteen. Through her adventures, mishaps, and successes, she wins the hearts of the viewers along with her local rival and enemy, Gilbert Blythe. She even smashes a slate over his head when she lost her temper. I don't want to give away much more because you should go and either read the book or watch the movie. I give it five stars. It was funny, creative, and really brought the book to life.

I don't know about the movie, but the books are a mouthful.
What do you mean by a mouthful? Anne talks a lot in the book, but that is part of her character. The movie is great.
