  • Just because you can do something
  • Doesn’t mean you should
  • You know the difference between right and wrong

  • You know what’s bad, what’s good

  • And just because someone says they love you
  • That doesn’t mean they do
  • Make them show you, get to know you
  • Prove their love is true

  • Before you give of yourself
  • The things you cannot get back
  • Get all the info that you need
  • To understand the facts

  • Know what you want, know what you need
  • And know what you will not accept
  • But most of all and most importantly
  • Give your self-respect
