The greed of white folk(s)....

Sean Hannity cited a quote from Obama's first book. He said something along the lines of - the greed of white folks has ruined a world in need. While i haven't read the book; i will threat my source as a rather credible one. Recent events have called into question the credibility of the self declared uniter of America.

I don't agree with Hillary Clinton on many issues, but when she reduced Obama's whole campaign into a series of speeches and nothing more, i was inclined to agree with her. Obama has been rated the most liberal senator of 2007. Being to the left of 94% of the other senators in economic issues, 94% of them in social issues, and 94% in foreign issues.

In other words compared the all the others in the senate he, history has shown that he's the list likely to reach out or compromise with those to his right. If Obama at this relatively humble stage, would not reach out to those on his right, i wonder how he would do so when he's on in the office he himself has describes as the "bully pulpit".

I wouldn't go after Obama on what his pastor said if he had just said he didn't agree with it. However the Illinois senator went ahead to say he wasn't there when the pastor said it. That leaves an intonation that he might have done something about it if he was there. Well i have news for Obama, his pastor didn't develop this views in a flash neither did he get over them at any point in time. His magazine gave the Dr. Jeremiah A. Wright Jr. Trumpeter Award to Louis Farrakhan, a man it said "truly epitomized greatness." This same pastor has long list of reasons why he could be considered anti-american.

The senator has said in his speeches that he was very outspoken against the war from the start. When i watch videos of how he spoke against it, it really does impress me. He was almost equivocal, but quite frankly, i'm sick of him toothing that same tune on his horn. It's almost like at his campaigns he can't read a whole paragraph without talking about it. All that aside, this guy is supposed to be bringing the country together. He is not supposed to take sides on an issue that so clearly divides the nation. He's supposed to be the future not the past. He is supposed to suggest solutions not dwell on the one right thing he said(not even did) in the past.

This guy has been thus far successful because of his rock star status, his excellent speech writers, his wonderful campaign, and his dazzling personalty. If however, he wins the white house, and this trend of scandal after another continues, he might just make the Bush regime look flawless.

The US House of Representatives on Friday passed a wiretap surveillance bill which President George W. Bush has vowed to veto, deepening a standoff over anti-terror espionage powers.

How to do you take this quote?

One reporter asked a friend if he would consider trying out the University of Toledo's stadium. "No," he said, adding, "What state's that in?"

funny, either he really doesn't know where that is, or he doesn't pay much attention to detail...

"Who is to blame for weight problems; society or ourselves?"..It seems that eating is an automatic response, and it isn't people's fault if they are fat. That the fault lies with the food manufactures, grocery stores, food vendors, restaurants, etc. The article contends that the "solution" is that the "environment itself needs to be changed - with laws regulating portion size, lableling, or the places where food can be sold or eaten.
