I keep falling in the hole.
Every time I think I have a hold of my money for college it always seems to disappear. I have gone through five different budget plans and I always seem to keep falling back into that hole. I have a decent paying job and I have been trying to get a second one but possible employers keep turning me down. I have till August to have at least $40,000 saved up just for my first year. I didn't realize how hard this was until I was living on my own. I have been living on my own for over a year now and these bill, bill, and bills keep pushing me back further from my dream career. I have always wanted to perform Computer Animations but I was discouraged from it in High School. "Its too much money" , "It cost too much", but with some recent encouragement I am pursuing my dream, that is if I can get myself out of this hole I am in. I am all on my own in this as well. My parents, who never attended college, aren't helping me, no body is helping me. I have been trying to apply for scholarships left and right but it is hard to find some geared towards graduate from High School who are trying to finally go for their dream. I just never realized how hard this was going to be.

There isn't much you can't learn on a computer from sitting in front of one connected to the internet. What EXACTLY are you trying to study?
Doing computer animation involves using specific software tools, Art or drawing, and maybe some specialized equipment. Which are they wanting the 40K to teach you? It sounds a little like a rip-off.
