Just when you thought it was over, everything comes back to visit.
With each sunrise we have one more day to live a lie,
This gives us another chance to elude people from knowing who we really are.
So we go out there and spend our money,
Wasting what we have saved for that rainy tomorrow.
Now the bills are back and they’re greater than ever,
And the situations that were there yesterday are here to follow up on the now.
So we go back to what got us out of trouble yesterday in our attempt to make it today,
Only now we lose even more ability to control it.
Turns out to be more than could be expected.
A never-ending cycle of the things we will never truly be.
