The Presidential Election of 2008 has had the most commotion than previous elections. We have our first female candidate, who might actually have a chance of winning. We also have out first black candidate. and the fact that he is the first that is amazing. Barack Obama has hit the main stream by far. He has connected with the teens in my generation, and I think that is how he might actually get the votes. He is an amazing speaker and he is great to listen to. Then there is Hilary Clinton. Our first woman candidate. She has been doing very well so far, but I don't think that she will be able to keep up with Barack, only because he has been keeping in touch with the younger generations, were as Hilary seems to be keeping up with the older generations. That is just the Democratic side of the race, then there is the Republican side. Mr. John McCain. He is the most liberal republican i have seen since i started keeping an eye on the polls. A lot of people have been saying that he might win. I'm not quite sure on this because he is a liberal republican and everyone is so mad at the republicans because President Bush put us in the Iraq War, that I do not believe that the people will want to see another republican president.

You are so right about this election causing a lot of commotion. Usually everyone know who the candidate for each party will be before the primaries start or early on in the primaries, but not this year. The democratic race is still too close to see who the candidate is and will probably go right until the convention. Republicans had a close race for a while. I think all this is going to result in a higher voter turn out, especially in young people.
