I thought i would share something i find very intresting . . .

The Divine Comedy is a Italian poem written by Dante Alighieri, which he describes his vision of the christian afterlife. It is extremly interesting outlook on the afterlife. . . if you want to take a test to see which ring you fall under here is the link . . . .

http://www.4degreez.com/misc/dante-inferno-test.mv

The Inferno has 9 circles of hell that depending on what you have done during your life on earth is determines what ring you will spend your afterlife in. Each circle has different punishments. The further you went the harsher the punishment the ninth circle is were satan, the devil, babel, lucifer, ect. whatever you wish to call him rest.

The story is in first person and has Virgil guiding dante through the realm of the dead.

The First Circle is for the pagans and un-baptized. . .. Dante meets philosophers and poets......

The Second circle is for those who laid victim to lust

The Third circle is where the cerberus reigns and guards the gluttons

The Fourth circle is for the people who let meterial things over-come their lives

The Fifth circle is for those who have fallen enemy to wrath and hatred

The Sixth circle is where Heretics are burned

The Seventh circle has 3 rings and keeps the violent
Outer ring - for people who are violent to each other and property
Middle ring- Suicidal
Inner ring- Violent towards god, nature, and art

The Eight Circle houses 10 different types of fraud and treachery

The Ninth circle is where biblical giants rest and is where traitors go

Then its purgatory and its terraces, then paradiso and the spheres of heaven where god appears .. . .

If you have not read this poem please read its very nice and intresting i could read it a million times :) i hope this is intresting and you enjoyed thanks for reading

Dante's Inferno is not AKA the Divine Comedy.

The Divine Comedy includes Inferno, Paradiso, and Purgatorio... but The Divine Comedy is not Also Known As Dante's Inferno ;-)

Just sayin'.

Oh... PS... where did you get all your info? Sources are your friend Dance!

Yah, thanks. It may be kinda silly at first glance with all the specific questions, but if you stop to examine your past and current actions it can be a tool of self-analysis. I hadn't given much thought to the fact that I have taken stuff from work before. People make jokes about raiding the the supply cabinet, but it is wrong to steal in my book. Nomatter where your morals lie, a quiz like this raises questions for people and if they push further, they will answer them for themselves. Bravo!

I took the quiz at first just as a joke but sad to say i never relized how many sins i had actually comitted About to Cry

I think Dante really wanted to grab people's souls and make them internalize the guilt. Intense man. It's like a butt kicking for your soul.
