I love children. Just recently I’ve taken over as the children’s leader at
Macedonia
Baptist
Church. Some of the greatest things about them is they’re not afraid to tell you anything if they’re comfortable with you.
Here are some things I’ve heard them say:
“There’s a buger in your nose.”
“I have to poop.”
“One, Two, Three, Four, Sixty-five, Twenty-nine…”
“WOW! LOOK AT ALL THE COLORs! THERE’s SO MANY OF THEM ZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZ…”
“Will you be my friend? Your mom said you have to.”
“Yeh that’s good, can I have some candy?”
“Girls have cuddies! Circle circle dot dot now I’ve got my cudie shot!” (yet it must be a temporary shot because thy seem to need one everyday)
And my personal favorite…
“Were to babies come from? Because I think you’ve got one.”
There is nothing like being free just to be ourselves! It is so sad how our society is so performance oriented. That's why Jesus said that if were not as little children we would not enter the Kingdom of Heaven... It's a calling to be real. To be honest. To be simple. Values we lost a long time ago...
