Johns Hopkins University has been known for its academic excellence since its induction as a private institution. The prestige and reputation of this institution is based on ratings and numbers as well as by word of mouth. This reputation is what attracted current students and will continue to attract future applicants.
Unfortunately, over the years, Johns Hopkins has suffered an indecency of sorts. A growing number of complaints have surfaced among current undergraduate students who have long endured the adversity and misery at Johns Hopkins University. Once a prestigious institution with a well-rounded reputation, Johns Hopkins is slowly becoming a last resort for prospective collegiate students. This is not to say Hopkins has regressed academically in anyway, however, it more a testament to its regrettable reputation as a socially depressing university.
We placed interviews and surveys to determine the best method for repairing Johns Hopkins ever-deteriorating social atmosphere. Thus far, the most widely-accepted proposal is the reduction of class sizes, which would thus lead to more classes and more professors. The reduction of class size would provide more interaction between students and an aura of comfort and participation. Another highly popular proposition is the inclusion of more freshman seminars. These seminars would be assembled so that students with the same majors and interests would be brought together; thus giving them a chance to interact and find comfort among like-minded students.
