Good. That’s my main point about this article. Good. I’m glad they’re doing something to keep kids from going up the steps of a “sexual predator’s” house.  I think it’s ridiculous that it has to be done. If you enjoy having sex that much, get married. Find someone who wants to be with you, rather than finding people who don’t even know you, specifically children. And I think if someone is able to do that to a child they need to create little communities that have NO CHILDREN in them whatsoever for pedophiles to live in.  They can still be productive in society, and be nowhere near children in the process. But I guess we can only work one little miracle at a time.

I was listening to The Mix again this morning, as I so often do on my way to work, and they included in the news, right after talking about important things that people should know, that Reese Witherspoon and her husband (?) broke up. Who cares? And why does the public feel the need to include everyone in celebrities’ personal business? The U.S. is full of such nosey people. Reese didn’t go to school for acting and whatnot just so that her divorce/breakup could be all over the news. I think it’s absolutely ridiculous. And the facts that it’s right up there with news about every day things just makes it even more ridiculous. I can’t seem to stress that enough. She’s a normal person just like us… It’s just that her face is on the television for a lot more than being an eyewitness or being part of a tragedy.

MySpace MySpace MySpace… Goodness gracious. Apparently, MySpace is going to be making people pay for the songs they upload and/or put on their homepages. Somehow, I don’t see this going too well. MySpace is a great networking site, but it’s not great enough that I will start paying money for something I could probably find free elsewhere. I think YouTube will bank off of it though. They’re going to be doing the same thing for copyrighted materials that have been and will be uploaded on their site. Everyone has to make money somehow, right? I can just see MySpace taking a hit if they start charging for everything. It’ll be a shame too, because it’s one of the top websites on the Internet.  Heck, I have a MySpace account myself, and it’s quite addicting… You can add pictures, make your own style, tell people about yourself. I’ve met a couple of my closest friends on MySpace, to be honest. But again, it’s not a good enough site that I’d want to start paying to keep my account. If it comes down to it, I’ll make my own free website hosted by angelfire and keep in touch with people that way.

Maybe that’s just me though.
