Why do people care ?

Last week was the MTV Music Video awards and everyone was commenting on Britney Spears' Dance. I just don't see why this trivial issue is getting such media attenchin ? I mean I know that it is popular but I think that knowing how our troops are doing in Iraq how many wont see there families again. I know it is sad, but I feel that the men and women who serve our country by putting their lives on the line are moe important than a washed-up pop queen. I think that Americans are trying to "tone down" the war in Iraq, because  they don't like that men are dying making the ultimate sacrifice for our freedoms. They deserve so much more appreciation than what they are being given, by giving Spears more air time than the troops I consider to be the greatest disrespect. However I am not a person who represents the popular vote that thinks that Britney is the most important thing ever. I however would like to know how many  troops are still going to be coming home.

I have asked myself this question so many times. I truthfully know nothing whatsoever about her, only what my mom tells me because she is obsessed with pop culture. And when I tell her about the documentary I watched on Hurricane Katrina, she just nodded and walked away. But then went on and on about Britney. People need to get their priorities straight.

I felt the MTV used Britney Spears to get their rating up. I feel bad for Britney because she hardly had time to practice before she went on stage...plus there were some complications before she performed. Honestly, I'd rather hear more about Iraq, but at the same time we do need some sort of distractions from all the bad things in the world and laugh at celebrities...and our Senator...Craig.

Communist self-hating why go to Israel when there is a spring break? Brittany has found her special porpoise and it involves spring break.
