The seat comforts her skin as her high heels aims for the pedals below. With her right hand on the ignition and her left heel on the clutch, she ignites the engine. A powerful roar comes from the GTI from underneath her. It sits patiently in neutral while her fingers glide over to the soft glowing of the radio. 106.7 - Radiohead's "Talk Show Host" just came on. Breathing Heavily, and buttoning up her coat, she knows just sitting in park will get her nowhere. Her heart is racing just as fast as her will for accomplishment. All she needed to do was make the first move. Adjusting herself to a more comfortable position, Samantha uses both her left and right foot to balance out the RPM's while using her right hand to grab the gear shift. "Do I really want to do this?," In her heart she knows that her spirit is her strength to pursue her destiny. Without an answer the silver GTI starts begins to creep forward in the moonlight.
The start of college and the possibility of failure. That is the light and strive for creative writing in this blog. I see so many of my friends take the first step. I on the other hand had a baby straight out of high school. I don't want to lead myself down the lonesome road. I want to make a change for a better world. I want my daughter Alana to enjoy the true blessings of life.

Having a baby doesn't mean you can't make a change. My friend is almost 8 months pregnant and since she found out she was pregnant she's changed a lot. Before she was doing substandard in school, but she ended up graduating with good grades and she's going to go to college part time. Both her and the baby's father work and are already saving up to provide for their son. And her own parents have changed for the better. So, don't give up just because you have a kid, take your daughter and the fact you want to make a good life for her and use that to make changes. Just take little steps and they'll build up to big goals.
