The Battle of the Bands (Or at least those popular in the 90s)

How many people out there like the new song "Danny California" by the Red Hot Chili Peppers? (crickets chirpping) Tough crowd, eh? Well, anyhoo, I like the song and the video, as well. I am thrilled about the band getting back together. Another band that is getting back together (if rumors hold true, and usually they do) is the Smashing Pumpkins. Smashing, don't you think. I am anticipating their reunion, and I am sure they will release at least one hit solo. Another old group that got back together is Slayer. I'm not really a fan; Actually, I hadn't heard of the band until a couple of years ago. But it is awesome to hear them on the radio airwaves with new songs. My only concern is when is No Doubt gonna have their reunion. Gwen is still young, vibrant, and making songs. Now all she needs is to grab the guys, and they're a band again.

the last i heard, billy corgan had taken out an ad announcing the reunion, but he hadn't actually talked with any of the other members, and i don't think they were too happy about this. i guess i haven't really followed the story for a year or two, though.

I've never heard of Slayer but I am excited about Red Hot Chili Peppers' reunion. I'm a closet fan, it's not really my kind of music but I love it anyways. And I must admit that I might pick up a Smashing Pumpkins or No Doubt album if they ever do get back together.

I have some news that is good and bad. I have just found out that Gwen Stefani is having a baby, and so that pretty much rules out any reunion No Doubt may have had planned. Yet, I wouldn't be surprised if the band waited until the baby grows a little bit, and then get back together. That's always a possibility.
