I live in California, and right now when i go to the pump like every other American I groan at the price tag. I have listened to the news and how our President wants to dig oil on the coast of California and in other States. We all know that there is oil here that we can pump. However, by using our own oil we are still harming our environment. I am not by any means an extreem enviornmentalist, but I do care about the earth I live in. and we can be a completely green America if some people would just stop and listen. I have a plan and who knows maybe someone who reads this might pass the plan on to someone else or maybe my Governor will read his emails but this is my plan. At least in for California and Hawaii. I am still working on everyone else. I got this Idea from my Dad after we listened to how Brazil is 100% green. Brazil's fuels is coming from sugar cane. That is making Ethnol. Sugar Cane is the number one plant in Hawaii besides the pineapple. But if hawaii got rid of all of the junk cars and planted more Sugar Cane and made an Ethnol Plant then they can start to use Ethnol for their fuels instead of oil. Now bigger picture. If we parceled the farmers land in California, where they planted corn and sugar beets and we also made an Ethnol plant we could use the Corn and the Sugar Beet to make the Ethnol. Then we would have the " Am Pm" gas stations sell ethnol becuase they are completley all over California. Then we could get a tax deductable from buying a new car that could run on Ethnol, and the left over money could go to buying more seed for plants and making for Ethnol plants. By doing that our economy could then have the money to get Solar Panals for the home, so that the water and electricity could be run by the sun.
It's just food for thought.
