Just what I need, a new Blog. May be I can get more people to read this one. So what will the topic be for today. How about "New Beginnings".
Today I decided to go back to school and obtain my Bachelors degree. Now you are asking yourself what makes this so special? On May 5th of this year I will turn 40, and I don't mean days. 40 is when you have to admit to yourself "I have reached middle age." You look back and examine you life. "What have I done with my life?" "Where is my life going?" Questions like these pop into your head when least expected.
So what have I done with my life? I fell in love. Had my heart broken. Lived weekly from paycheck to bounced check. Watched family and friends marry, divorce, and remarry. Gained weight and lost hair. Though all this I wonder why I have not completely lost my mind. (maybe I have and just don't realize it yet)
Then maybe turning 40 is just the start for something great. Do I have any regrets? No, everything I have done both good and bad has led me to this point in my life. If I could do it over again, would I? Ask me when I turn 80.
