I read a news article, and it had two different viewpoints about which city the olympics of the year 2016 should be held at. Of course, I think it should definitely be held in Chicago. The Windy City! Chicago Pride! Seriously, who cares about Los Angeles having celebrities and all, we have the comedians right in Chicago. And there's Oprah! And besides, Los Angeles already have all their glory and fame with celebrities living rght next door to one another. Our view is way better at night, by the beautiful lake Michigan, and of course, the towering John Hancock and Sears Tower. And we have never hosted an event as fun as this, the Olympics.....In the Daily Illini, it said that we have hosted events in the past right in Chicago. These events include: 1893 World's Columbian Exposition;World's Fair, 1933, Major League Baseball's first All-Star game, 1933; Black Sox Trial; and Chicago Blues Festival. So...nothing that's remotely near the present. I really hope the event is going to take place in Chicago, it's time for our city to stand out!! And I really want to see the Olympics up close....
