About a week ago a tornado touched down in my county. The location Moulton, Alabama about 15 minutes from my house. I remember that exact morning. Three a.m. I was startled by heavy rains and thunder. I tried to turn on the television but the satellite was down. I had no clue what was going on just minutes down the road. A community in ruins from the fury of a storm. Some lost everything and others lost just a few. Three lives where taken and others where injured. Never before has it hit so close to home. Give to the community will be the best thing I could do. Neighbors stepped in and helped out. Working around the clock to clean up and lend a helping hand. The local Wal-Mart also lifted a hand. Providing water and other supplies to the victims. How thankful I am to be safe and to have my family safe as well. To the families of the victims my deepest sympathy is given. Never would I ever had guessed that it would have been so close to home. Never underestimate the power of nature. I went out a purchased a weather radio so next time I will be prepared.
