Immigration

I talked about immigrants in my last post and wanted to clarify my thoughts on illegal immigrants.

I do not believe it is right for illegals to have an equal treatment with legal U.S. residents. I do see the problems we have in having a number of illegals here, but there are many other factors that go into this. I do not think it plausable, or required to deport all illegals. I feel we need to work on reconfiguring the laws we have and then enforce them. I know for a fact how difficult it can be in coming to America from Mexico. My brother-in-law is Mexican (was born in U.S, but grew up in Mexico- all his family is still there) and is looking into bringing his mother here, as he and my sister are having a child. It is extremely expensive and takes quite some time. There can be ways to speed up the process, or take loophole, but again the cost is way up there. Most are coming here to work, because they don't have money enough to provide for themselves where they are. The case is almost redundant. It can seem like a wild goose chase. There does need to be reform, but we need to make it fit not just our needs, but the needs of our global neighbors.

I feel if you can get over here without getting caught you can stay.

even if it were a terrorist trained to get into countries without getting caught?

All those reglementations are made with a purpose. People who want to come to USA should meed some criterias. I am sure most of them wna to work; and I am sure it is very difficult to get to America legally. So maybe the laws should be more adaptable...
