What is love? Is it a kiss on the forehead? Is it that four letter word that every girl wants to hear and most guys avoid saying? Or is it a passionate impatient rushed and often regretted night? Love is an emotion expressed through action. Love is being wiliing to sacrifice your own comfort for someone else. True love has no boundaries or conditions. It stands the test of time and is not conformed to what others think it should be. In other words, love is not "everybody's doing it" or "if you LOVE me you'll do it" . Most teenagers confuse love with sex. They say well we love each other so we should do it. They don't think about how if they really loved each other they would wait. They wouldn't rush into something that they're not mentally or emotionally ready for. They allow the movies and music to trick them into doing something beyond their comprehension. Don't confuse the hype of teenage like with love. That mistake has caused many to suffer. Some pay with their health and others pay with their life because that's what they brought into the world. Remeber, Sex is not Love.

I totally agree that sex is not love. Our society needs to move away from this conception of love equaling sex. Teenagers are becoming pregnant and diseases are floating around like crazy. It's time to create awareness and to show that you can have a good relationship without risking consequences. Everyone seems so caught up on the fact that they think sex is the "cool thing to do", but in reality, there are tons of people paying the price for this so called "cool" label.
