I take the bus or walk almost every where i go and i have seen alot of crazy drivers I cant remember all the times I have almost been hit or seen some one almost get hit by another car. it seems people are in such a rush that they dont take the time to obey the rules of the road causing more accidents and deaths. My friend has been hit by a car tree times of course his attitude towards other cars when he walks across the street is " why should i have to look both ways when its their job to stop for pedestrians not keep going like i am invisable and if they hit me so be it they will be at fault". I believe part of what my friend says is true it is the drivers reponsiblity to watch out for pedestrians. I am not putting all the blame on drivers either part of the reasons roads are unsafe are from people walking out into the streets with out even looking how can people forget some thing you learn when you are a kid? "Look both ways before you cross the street". The streets and comminuties if both drivers and pedestrians were a little more careful.

People think that they are the most important people in the entire world (like just today I had to avoid a head-on collision w/ a woman who was changing her radio stations) she was turning onto a very narrow road, and i was turning off of it, she didnt see me and continued to look down at her radio so i stopped my car in the middle of the road to avoid her.
one of the reasons why this is occuring a lot to people is because of the use of cell phones while driving. that is just dangerous to the fullest! i know many of my friends who has gotten into accidents while on the cell phone. i ask them, "what happened?" they say "i was talking to John Doe and a car just suddenly popped out of nowhere!". and pretty much everyone of them says that its the other drivers fault. well its obviously not the other persons fault, it's clearly their fautl for being on the phone and not concentrating on what is on the side of them. i heard that in 2008, people who use their cell phones while driving will get a ticket. and i think that is fare cuz with less people on their phones, less accidents will occur.
i almost been hit by a car and i almost had an accident when i was taking a taxi home..
