Do You Snowboard?

How many of you other ProgressiveU-ers out there enjoy this cold sport?

I have been snowboarding for eight years and with the way the weather is going now, I am craving snow. About this time every year I feel as though I'm going to go crazy If I don't go hop on my board and shred it up a bit.

I thought I would start this blog to spark some interest because, well, if you can't go snowboarding, you midas well talk about it!

For me, snowboarding is my main winter hobby/sport. I don't compete, but that doesn't mean I'm not good. I have been enjoying the sport for far too long for someone not to take me seriously. I have taken some time off of jumping for the last couple seasons. Actually, last season was my first season back into the park and jumping again.

This started after I injured my back when I was 13. The pain never went away and the doctors couldn't figure out what was going on. I went through pinched nerves and so on far before anyone should have. Usually this kind of thing starts later on in life. Well. I was advised to stop all sports, but of course I didnt. I just stopped jumping because it became unbeliveably painful. Last year, they found out I have a disk disease in my back. OUCH. Once I learned that it would never get better, I found it a waste of time waiting for it to.

So this year, nothing is holding me back. I am going on a trip to one of the best places for a snowboarder to be, COLORADO!! I already have my board out of my summer storage bag, set up, and waxed. Im all ready for the snow to fall, how about you??
