Prop 300 and asking if we are legal in the U.S.

I am against Prop 300 and I believe that all people are entitled to education. Prop 300 first of all denies many rights to illegal immigrants. My friend received a full ride scholarship and he can not even utilize the scholarship to it's fullest amount for school, because of Prop 300 and he is just a documented immigrant! He earned the scholarship fair and square and this propostion came into effect! Now, my friend can only take so many classes a semester and within a year.

As for the undocumented immigrants (the illegals) they can just be shipped back to their country like the girl from ASU.There was a girl from ASU that was pulled over for a broken tail light and they found out that she wasn't even legal in the U.S. and they shipped her back to Mexico! This girl had a full ride scholarship to ASU and they did not even care about her potential! The police asked her for her parents and she didn't give them any information. She wasn't stupid and did not want her parents to get shipped back to Mexico either. The poor girl just went back and didn't know anyone in Mexico because she lived in the U.S. for most of her life!

Now, the police can ask us if we are citizens in the U.S. if we are stopped by them! What if we are discriminated against by unethical cops? Sheriff Joe Arpaio is causing alot of controversy and anger with the hispanic race. People are trying to organize protest against him because he is suggesting all these outrageous laws targeting immigrants. To me it seems like Arpaio only focuses on immigrants instead of other issues. What if documented immigrants are mistaken for illegals?

if that girl is so smart, how come she wasnt smart enough to become a citizen. she can go back to mexico, who cares. if she cant do whats right and become a us citizen, then screw her. i dont want my tax money going to pay for the likes off her. now for the documented immagrant, i believe that it is completely unfair. he went through the gruling process of becoming a citizen and did what it took. he showed he cared.

We were all born from an immigrant. First of all, the new propostition should go to the new generations and not the past. This girl already had her scholarship and was in school before the propostition came into effect. The government didn't even try to help her get her citizenship to keep the scholarship. The government just wanted to ship her off with her family! I think if you want to ship someone off, you should at least be ethical about it.
